We did get a tracking number for our LOA returning to China. I am so relieved. Although right now it's dropped off the face of the earth! But I know from watching our dossier go to China for Noah's adoption that it vanishes for about 36 hours as it goes through customs. I expect it will be delivered in a day or so.
I hesitate to redo my predictions for when we are going to travel. Depending on how long our TA will take and how long it takes to get a Consualte appointment (both varying wildly right now) we could be traveling in as little as a month on the VERY short end... or 8 weeks on the long side. The estimate I have right now is based on 6 weeks between acceptance letter and travel... so I think that is right about the middle and I'll keep it.
Being approved to adopt Tao Tao allowed me to finally accept this adoption will happen. I was just so scared to do that before we got that approval letter. But the downside is that suddenly I've gone from stressing and worrying about a little boy growing up in an orphanage on the other side of the world to desperately longing to love and take care of MY SON living in an orphanage on the other side of the world. The separation is suddenly so much more painful. A part of my heart is thousands of miles away.

Congrats on LOA. Rooting you on from WI. We were a few days over six weeks from LOA to travel and that was b/c they had to bump it out a week b/c of the Olympics. I hope that you get a quick turn around and have Tao Tao in your arms before Thanksgiving!
