"Explanations"

Finally.

Not that they help.

Nope.

Our dossier sat in Jiangsu for over a month waiting to get translated and sent on to the CCAA. I don't know when it arrived, but it was sent from New York on May 13th and not sent on to the CCAA, translated, until June 18th. And then there were problems with documents not being included so it took the CCAA 16 days to log it in. But it took our agency FORTY DAYS to get it there in the first place.

We were told "we translate the dossier ourselves because it is faster" (than using the CCAA's translation service). But then today I was told that it took so long to translate because they were "very busy" translating "post-placement reports, updates [uh, which we haven't gotten either] etc etc." Our dossier getting to the CCAA was obviously NOT a priority.

I am oscillating between being very angry and very sad. Right now it's tending back towards anger so I'll stop here.
